About

Shia Fisher: international entrepreneur, sound recordist, producer, and performing artist. Shia starting making music at the age of 7 years old taking piano and guitar lessons. By the time he entered middle school he was a percussionist in his band class, and started his own jazz combo with his peers. With the help of his father he was able to book shows for holiday events at local businesses. Once Shia entered high school he picked up the flute but still maintained his drumming roots in jazz ensemble. Shia moved from High School to High School but stayed involved in music. He received an acoustic guitar and was seen often with his guitar at school. Heading up a new project his four piece band “Living Proof” landed gigs at the Rave and Acen Anime Convention. Losing one band member prevented the group of performing Acen that year but the group continued to compete in Battle of the Bands.

From the experience of Battle of the Bands Shia’s vision for a new type of music company emerged Something Media® LLC. Folie Stasis was born as a side project to help promote the new multimedia company. With the help of his mentor Dr. Diction, Shia and Diction were able to perform on Madison TV show Urban Theater for the 300th episodes.

In 2012 Shia released Folie Stasis’ first album “The Wave Game”

Most recently Folie Stasis has compiled DJ mixes to release for free online.
